International Literacy Day

This event was set by UNESCO to remind the international community of the status of literacy and adult learning globally. This day was first celebrated on September 8, 1966 and has been celebrated on the same date each year since then.

As a project we have been partnering with the ministry of adult education in Kwale county to celebrate the day.
